When people think about Salesforce the first thing that comes to mind is CRM. Most would have heard of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), their marketing automation solution.
However, the majority will be surprised to learn that Salesforce also owns a software for listening, engaging, and publishing across the most popular social media networks — Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Google My Business and Sina Weibo.

The amount of data generated on social media on a daily basis is truly mind-blowing. Take a look at the DOMO “Data Never Sleeps 8.0” report: every minute Twitter gains 319 users, roughly 138k business ads are seen/clicked on Instagram, 147k photos are uploaded on Facebook and users post almost 350k per minute on Instagram.
